The final part of this microfilm project contains Churchill's many important subject files on the United States of America. Topics include Munitions and War Production, Destroyers and Bases, Lease Lend, the British Purchasing Mission to the USA, the Riviera Conference of August 1941 (leading to the Joint Declaration known as the "Atlantic Charter"), the Arcadia Conference of December 1941, the Argonaut Conference of June 1942, Atlantic patrols, Shipping and Food Missions, Supplies and aid to the Soviet Union; conversations regarding De Gaulle and De Valera; Supply of Confidential Information, Explosives, Air Power, Tube Alloys and the use of the Atomic Bomb; Meetings and telegrams exchanged between Churchill, Roosevelt, Truman (see files on USA: Former Naval Person) and discussions with Eisenhower, Hopkins and Harriman.
