Part 2: Archives of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, 1994-2000

The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND) is one of the most prolific and influential pressure groups of modern times. It has continued to press the cause for nuclear disarmament, particularly in the wake of the fragmentation of the former Soviet Union. It also argues strenuously against proliferation in Israel, Iran, India, Pakistan, North Korea and other countries.

Part 2 of this project makes available their complete archives for 1995-2000, including CND Annual Conference Papers, 1995-2000; Minutes of the National Council and National Executive Committee of CND, 1994-2000; Papers of Specialist sections such as Christian CND, Youth CND, Ex-Services CND and Parliamentary CND; papers of local CND groups, with strong sections for Manchester, Merseyside, the Midlands, Wales and Scotland; CND Information/Defence Briefings, 1994-2000; CND Press Releases, 1995-2000; and all of their pamphlets, leaflets and periodicals (including Campaign, 1995-2000 and CND Today, 1995-2000).
